The 1990s
We've a small selection of 1990s promotions for now. We'll be adding to these over the next few months. To start with, a couple of pre-franchise bid corporate barnstormers. The first looks at LWT's excellent record in local programming.
And the second emphasises LWT's important drama contributions to the ITV network.

Fast-forward to 1992 and there's more marvellous corporate flag-waving from LWT which 'Makes The Weekend'.

A rather nice corporate promotion from London Weekend Television in 1990. Voiced by Paul Nicholas, this includes the elongated instrumental score from the LWT take of the ITV corporate identity package, introduced the previous autumn.

In January 1993, London News Network launched a 7-day news service for the capital on LWT and Carlton. Here, we present a selection of the launch promos which went out on LWT at the end of 1992. Firstly, here's two generic LNN launch promos.

From 1994, a corker of a 'New Season' promo from LWT, this one concentrating on blockbuster movie action.
