It's autumn 1977 and time for a new season of 'Autumn Plus' promotions from London Weekend, this one featuring a look ahead to the 'best sellers' season the following weekend.
Announcer Keith Martin voices this 1977 trailer, heralded by a special version of the station ident, which gives a run down of Sunday evening's programmes on London Weekend. Thanks to Mark Roberts for this clip and the one preceding it.
A rather nice 'Next Weekend' line-up promotion from 1978, featuring that year's 'Autumn on ITV' logo.

La Serenissima, or 'Venice in Peril', by Rondo Veneziano, was regularly used by London Weekend Television as a filler programme at closedown during the late 1970s. The theme was also used by the ITV network for its autumn season promotion in 1983. Click on the image for the video.
