Roger Tilling gives it some real welly with a full-on 'London Weekend Television' announcement. Announcers in the final weeks made a special effort to plug the full name as the on-air brand would soon disappear completely. This approach had been approved by LWT's head of presentation at the time.

LWT last day on-air start-up, 2002
LWT pulled out the stops for its last day on-air giving its loyal viewers a real nostalgia-fest of presentation gems. This included a specially recorded start-up sequence broadcast at 5.30am on 28 October. Thanks to Nick Harvey for this clip and the one below.
